About Me

My name is Dave Spencer and as a little boy l remember looking after our family's graves with my grandparents. I remember it being a caring and peaceful experience that must have stayed with me.

Since losing my dad in 2001 l now understand how difficult it can be to look after a loved one's grave, due to work obligations, disabilities, or finding it too emotional. Which is where my idea to provide some sort of service bloomed.

Over the years l planned this business whilst working day and night shifts, it gave me the drive, determination and passion to set up Grave Concerns as soon as I had an opportunity.

I began Grave Concerns in 2015, and are now offering grave tending contracts, memorial and grave restorations, cleans, maintenance plans and new memorials. I am privileged have customers from all over the world who trust me to look after their loved one's graves in the UK.

I use a talented team of florists, and a craftsman stonemason with over 40 years' experience.

Grave Concerns is BRAMM registered ( British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons) and are proud to say we are commissioned by churches, parishes, and councils.

Do not stand at my grave and weep:

   I am not there.

          I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain,

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning’s hush,

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry:

   I am not there,

           I did not die.
